For the third year in a row, Jennifer Greenhut Tollin and Zero Negative are hosting a special night out to raise funds for UCLA’s Jonsson Cancer Center - one of the top-rated comprehensive cancer research centers in the world.

Save the date! October 12, 2019, is the night we’re coming together to fight cancer in style. This year’s fundraiser theme is “Dancing for a Cure”, featuring outstanding auction prizes and entertainment by the Arthur Murray Dance Studio. Come dance the evening away while raising money for the Jonsson Cancer Center Foundation (JCCF), with 100% of ticket and raffle proceeds going to the JCCF.

The JCCF is a 501(c)(3) within UCLA that exists for the express purpose of raising and distributing funds to support life-changing cancer research at the UCLA Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center.

2018: Valerie Kondos Field

Valorie Kondos Field, often referred to as “Miss Val”, is a retired American gymnastics coach, former ballet dancer and dance coach. She was the head coach of the Bruins gymnastics team at UCLA when Jennifer Greenhut was a gymnast.

Valorie and Jenn stayed in touch after graduation, but it was their respective cancer journeys that truly brought them back together. Valorie had been diagnosed with breast cancer a couple years before Jenn, and was the second person Jenn reached out to after her diagnosis.

Valorie taught Jenn the important of gratitude, and to believe in herself and her doctors. Valorie serves as an inspiration to “be grateful for all, and anxious for nothing.”
